The Government of Chhattisgarh has announced the Post-Matric Scholarship 2025-26 for students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories. This scholarship aims to provide financial support to meritorious students pursuing higher education in or outside the state.
Application Dates:
- Renewal Applications: 20 May 2025 – 30 November 2025
- Fresh Applications: 01 August 2025 – 30 November 2025

Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a resident of Chhattisgarh.
- The student must belong to SC, ST, or OBC categories.
Annual family income limit:
- SC/ST – up to ₹2.5 lakh per annum
- OBC – up to ₹1 lakh per annum
Applicant must possess:
Permanent caste certificate issued by a competent authority
Domicile certificate of Chhattisgarh
Previous year’s examination mark sheet of the ongoing course

Step-by-Step Application Process
- Step 1: Complete your OTR on NSP using Aadhaar (one-time process).
- Step 2: Register at https://postmatric-scholarship.cg.nic.in or click Login for existing users.
- Step 3: Fill in your academic and eligibility details and upload required documents.
- Step 4: Submit and lock your application through your NSP OTR.
Important Instructions
- Scholarships are paid directly into Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts through PFMS.
- Students must verify that their bank accounts are active and Aadhaar-linked.
- Biometric authentication of the Head of Institution (HoI) and Institutional Nodal Officer (INO) is mandatory for new institutions in 2025-26.
- To link your bank account with Aadhaar, visit your bank branch and submit the Bank Consent Form for Receiving DBT.
