The Ahimsa Fellowship 2025 is a prestigious 8-month full-time leadership program that aims to cultivate committed animal protection professionals across India. Designed for passionate graduates, the fellowship empowers individuals to work alongside state and district administrations to implement and strengthen animal welfare laws. Backed by renowned national and international organizations, it offers a platform to drive meaningful change in public policy and governance related to animal protection.
To apply, candidates must:
Be Indian nationals
Hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream
Be aged 21–39 years as of 31st December 2025
Communicate fluently in English and a regional language
Commit to the entire 8-month duration of the program starting from September 2025
Monthly stipend: ₹10,000 (for the first 2 months) and ₹20,000 (for the remaining period)
All expenses for travel and accommodation during residential contact classes will be fully covered
Additional reimbursement available for out-of-pocket expenses on approval
