AYUSH Scholarship Scheme 2025-26

AYUSH Scholarship Scheme 2025-26 is an opportunity provided by the Government of India through the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) to students pursuing Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) courses in Indian institutions/universities/colleges. Selected scholars will receive a monthly stipend of up to ₹43,500 along with other benefits such as airfare and health insurance to help cover the costs of their education in India.

• Minimum 18 years of age at the time of admission

• 12 years of schooling with PCB for BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS

• 12 years of schooling for B.Sc. in Yoga/B.A. Yoga Shastra

• Bachelor’s degree recognised by CCIM (for PG in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani)

• Bachelor’s degree recognised by CCH (for PG in Homoeopathy)

• Master’s degree recognised by CCIM (for Ph.D. in Ayurveda, Unani)

• ₹18,000/month for UG

• ₹35,000/month for 1st-year PG

• ₹38,000/month for 2nd & 3rd-year PG

• ₹43,500/month for Ph.D.

Rent Allowance:

• Up to ₹6,500/month in Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai

• Up to ₹5,000/month in other cities

• Contingent Grant:

₹4,500 for UG & Yoga diploma

• ₹12,000 for Ph.D./MD/MS

Thesis/Dissertation Support:

• ₹10,000 for Ph.D.

• ₹7,000 for MD/MS

• Economy airfare (twice – admission & graduation)

• Health insurance
