A scholarship scheme by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Ministry of Labour and Employment providing financial assistance for education to the wards of Beedi, IOMC, LSDM, Mica Mines, and Cine Workers. The benefits range from ₹1,000 to ₹25,000 per annum, transferred via DBT.
Wards of eligible workers with 6+ months service (including contract/home-based workers).
Must have passed last qualifying exam in first attempt or been promoted.
Family income limits apply (₹10,000 for Beedi & Mine workers; Cine workers ≤ ₹8,000/month or ≤ ₹1,00,000 annual lump sum).
Studying in Govt./Govt. recognized institutions in India in general/technical/professional courses.
Not availing any other scholarship.
Separate bank account mandatory.
Class 1 to 4: ₹1,000
Class 5 to 8: ₹1,500
Class 9 & 10: ₹2,000
Class 11 & 12: ₹3,000
ITI/Polytechnic/Degree (including B.Sc.
Professional Courses: ₹25,000
