Education Fee Reimbursement Scheme for Open Category Students, Maharashtra 2024-25

Eligibility & Deadline

To qualify, applicants must:

• Be Indian citizens.
• Hold domicile status in Maharashtra.
• Belong to the open category.
• Have secured admission through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
• Be pursuing MBBS, BDS, or postgraduate medical (MD/MS) courses in private unaided colleges.

Benefits

Students selected under this scheme will have their FRA-approved fees reimbursed for private institutions, while government institute students will receive reimbursement as per government-approved fee structures.

Required Documents

Applicants must provide the following documents:

• Aadhaar card
• Domicile certificate
• SSC and HSC mark sheets
• Previous academic year’s mark sheet
• Father’s PAN card
• Student’s PAN card (optional)
• Mother’s PAN card (optional)

How to Apply for the Education Fee Reimbursement Scheme (Maharashtra) 2024-25

Follow these steps to apply for the scheme:

Step 1: Visit the Official Portal

• Go to the Aaple Sarkar DBT Portal: https://mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in

Step 2: Register/Login

• If you are a new user, click on "New Applicant Registration" and create an account using your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
• If you already have an account, log in with your credentials.

Step 3: Select the Scheme

• After logging in, go to the "Scholarship & Benefits" section.
• Search for "Education Fee Reimbursement Scheme for Open Category Students" under the Directorate of Medical Education Research.
• Click on "Apply" to proceed.

Step 4: Fill in the Application Form

• Enter personal details such as name, Aadhaar number, contact information, and category.
• Provide educational details, including course name, college name, and admission details.
• Upload the required documents (Aadhaar card, domicile certificate, mark sheets, PAN card, etc.).

Step 5: Submit the Application

• Review all the details carefully before submission.
• Click "Submit" to complete the application process.

Step 6: Track Application Status

• After submission, you can track the status of your application through the portal by logging in and navigating to the "My Applications" section.

Step 7: Verification & Approval

• The submitted application will be verified by the concerned authorities. If approved, the reimbursement amount will be credited to your registered bank account.
