About the Program

HSCSIT offers research fellowships to meritorious students in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences & Earth Sciences. The fellowship supports full-time Ph.D. work in any recognized university or institute in Haryana.

Eligibility
  • Applicants must hold an M.Sc. or equivalent degree in relevant fields with a minimum of 55% marks and must have qualified JRF-NET & LS-NET in the Joint CSIR-UGC Test conducted on 25th, 26th, or 27th July 2024. Age should not exceed 28 years as on 01.01.2024 (relaxable by 5 years for reserved categories, women, and physically challenged candidates).
Benefits

  • JRF: ₹31,000/month (if CSIR/UGC not availed) or ₹18,000/month (LS-NET)

  • SRF: ₹35,000/month or ₹21,000/month (LS-NET)

  • ₹20,000 annual contingency grant to host institution

  • Tenure: 3 years, extendable to 5 years

Only online applications are accepted. Interested candidates must apply through the official HSCSIT portal before 30.06.2025 after NTA result declaration. Applicants must upload relevant documents including NET score, degree proof, research topic, and supervisor/institution approval.Apply Now
