IIT Kharagpur Post Doctoral Fellowships

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this fellowship, applicants must:

• Hold a PhD degree with an outstanding academic record and published research papers/patents to their credit.
• Be either an Indian or a foreign national.
• Be under the age of 35 years.

Fellowship Benefits

Selected candidates will receive the following benefits:

• Approval to attend an international conference abroad once during the tenure, during which they will be considered on duty and will receive financial support as per the approved rate.
• Daily Allowance for the duration of the conference, including two additional days before and after the event.
• Annual contingency grant of INR 25,000.

2. The fellowship is awarded for a total of three years, with renewal on a yearly basis.
