About the Program

Janhit Jagran, the flagship initiative of Dainik Jagran, is dedicated to fostering and empowering social entrepreneurs across India, with a special emphasis on Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, where groundbreaking ideas often go unrecognized.

This program is committed to building a thriving ecosystem that not only identifies innovative solutions to societal challenges but also provides active support and funding. By incubating and promoting entrepreneurial ventures, Janhit Jagran aims to drive meaningful social change across India's diverse landscape, in alignment with the seven commandments of Dainik Jagran.

How can you apply?

The Janhit Jagran Funding Initiative is a flagship program by Dainik Jagran, designed to support students, young entrepreneurs, for-profit organizations, and not-for-profit organizations across India. The initiative aims to foster entrepreneurial ventures that address India’s most pressing social challenges, aligning with the 7 Commandments of Dainik Jagran to create sustainable and meaningful change.

The selected entrepreneurs or organizations will receive a customized grant ranging from ₹2 Lakhs to ₹20 Crores, along with additional benefits.

  • Educated Society
  • Water Conservation
  • Population Planning
  • Poverty Eradication
  • Women Empowerment
  • Environmental Protection
  • A Healthy Society

Eligibility Criteria:

  • For Students & Young Entrepreneurs:
  • Indian citizens aged 18-25 years.
  • Minimum educational qualification: 12th Grade.
  • Must be a part of an educational institution.

For For-Profit Organizations:

  • Indian citizens.
  • Registered under the Companies Act 2013.
  • Must be at least 3 years old.
  • Must have a proof of concept for their business.
  • For Not-for-Profit Organizations:

Indian citizens.

  • Registered as a Trust, Foundation, or Section 8 company in India.
  • Must be at least 3 years old.
  • Must have at least one live project running.

Required Documents for Application:

  • CV of the applicant.
  • Marksheet of the highest completed education.
  • Letter of Recommendation.
