Launched in 2012–13 by the Government of Himachal Pradesh in honor of the late astronaut Kalpana Chawla, the Kalpana Chawla Chatravriti Yojana provides financial assistance to meritorious girl students of Himachal Pradesh. The aim is to empower economically weaker sections to pursue higher education, achieve their career goals, and become self-reliant.
The applicant must be a resident of Himachal Pradesh.
The applicant must be a girl student.
Must be a regular student of 10+2, academic, professional, or technical courses in Science, Arts, or Commerce streams.*
The institution must be Government, Government Aided, or Private and affiliated with the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education.
Scholarship is awarded strictly based on 10+2 merit declared by HPBOSE, Dharamshala.
Applicable for undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional courses.
₹15,000 per annum directly credited to the student’s bank account.
Renewable for up to five years, provided the student continues to meet eligibility criteria.

Read the guidelines carefully, accept the undertaking, and click “Continue”.
Fill in the registration form and submit to receive the Application ID and password (also sent via SMS).
Log in with your credentials, verify via OTP, and reset your password.
On the Applicant Dashboard, click “Application Form”, fill all required fields, and upload documents.
Click “Final Submit” to complete the application.
