The MTCP Scholarship 2025 is an initiative by the Government of Malaysia for international students from developing countries. It supports full-time Master’s degree programs in Malaysia. The scholarship is aimed at enhancing technical cooperation between Malaysia and other countries through educational development.
Applicants must:
Be a citizen of an MTCP recipient country
Be under 45 years of age at the time of application
Have at least a second-class upper undergraduate degree or CGPA of 3.0
Demonstrate English proficiency through IELTS (≥6.0), TOEFL iBT (≥60), or proof of English-medium education
Have secured admission or a conditional offer from a Malaysian university Note: Students of medicine, nursing, and clinical pharmacy are not eligible.
Monthly stipend of RM 3,500 (approx. ₹70,000)
Tuition fee coverage
Return economy-class flight ticket
Additional benefits such as visa and medical coverage
