Mukhyamantri Vidhyarathi Pratibha Yojana for SC/ST/OBC Students 2024-25

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must:

• Be an Indian citizen and a resident of Delhi.
• Belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Other Backward Class (OBC) category.
• Be enrolled in Classes 9 to 12 in a recognized school, affiliated with:
  • Directorate of Education
  • Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan
  • National Open School
  • Schools under NDMC, Delhi Cantonment Board, or Municipal Corporations (EDMC, NDMC, SDMC)
• Have obtained the following minimum marks in the previous academic year:
  • 50% for Class 9 and 10
  • 60% for Class 11 and 12
• Have a parental/guardian income not exceeding ₹8,00,000 per year.

Note: Students who have scored 75% or more in their previous class are eligible regardless of family income.

Scholarship Benefits

The selected students will receive the following financial support:

• ₹5,000 per annum for students in Class 9 and 10.
• ₹10,000 per annum for students in Class 11 and 12.

Required Documents

Applicants must provide the following documents:

1. Annual family income certificate issued by the Revenue Department of Delhi NCT.
2. EWS certificate (if applicable) issued by the competent authority of Delhi NCT.
3. Domicile certificate (if applicable) issued by the competent authority of Delhi NCT.
4. Caste certificate in the student’s or father’s name, issued by the SDM/Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), GNCTD.
5. Marksheet/certificate of the previous academic year.
6. Proof of enrollment in Classes 9/10/11/12 from a recognized school in Delhi.
7. Aadhaar-linked bank account details of the student (joint accounts with a parent/guardian are also acceptable).

How to Apply

Follow these steps to apply for the scholarship:

1. Visit the official portal of the Department for the Welfare of SC/ST, Government of NCT of Delhi.
2. Register/Login on the scholarship application system.
3. Fill in the application form with accurate personal and academic details.
4. Upload scanned copies of the required documents.
5. Review the application for correctness and submit it online.
6. Note the application number for future reference.
7. Submit the application before the deadline (May 31, 2025).
