The Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana (Educational Assistance) 2024-25 is an initiative under the Labour & ESI Department aimed at supporting the education of students from families registered with the Odisha Building & Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board. This scheme provides financial assistance to students from Class VI onwards, including those pursuing higher secondary, undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional courses such as engineering, medical, B.Ed., nursing, and teacher training. It is open to students belonging to the General, SC, ST, OBC/SEBC, and EBC categories.
To avail of this scholarship, students must submit essential documents, including their Aadhaar Card, bank account details, college ID (where applicable), and marksheets of the last exam passed. By offering this financial support, the scheme ensures that children of laborers have access to education, helping them build a better future and improve their career prospects.
