About the Program

The Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC students of Chhattisgarh is a government initiative to support students from marginalized communities in continuing post-matric education. It offers partial financial assistance and is administered by the Department of Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development, Chhattisgarh.

Eligibility
  • To be eligible, students must be permanent residents of Chhattisgarh, belong to the SC/ST/OBC category, be studying in Class 11 or higher, and have scored a minimum of 50% in the previous class. Annual family income should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh (SC/ST) or ₹1 lakh (OBC).
Benefits

The scholarship provides financial assistance between ₹2500 and ₹3,800 per year depending on the category and residential status (hosteller/non-hosteller) of the applicant.

  • Applications must be submitted online at https://postmatric-scholarship.cg.nic.in. Students must register, fill in required academic and personal details, and upload scanned copies of the following documents:

  • Domicile Certificate

  • Caste Certificate

  • Birth Certificate

  • Income Certificate

  • Passport-size photograph

  • Self-attested copy of last mark sheet
