- Students with disabilities studying in Class 9 or Class 10, having at least 40% disability, with annual parental income not exceeding ₹2 lakh, and not availing any other government scholarship. Only up to two children from a family are eligible.
About the Program
A scholarship scheme by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD) for Students with Disabilities (SwDs) studying in Class 9th and 10th in a government or recognized school. It aims to support students with disabilities in pursuing education and preparing for a dignified livelihood.
Eligibility
- The applicant must be studying in Class 9 or 10, have a disability percentage of 40% or more, and belong to a family with annual income not exceeding ₹2.00 lakh.
- The applicant must not avail of any other scholarship or be the third sibling in the family.
- Maximum two students from one family are eligible.
Benefits

Maintenance Allowance (₹ per month): Day Scholars ₹500, Hostellers ₹800 (for 12 months).
