Reimbursement of Tuition Fee for SC/ST/OBC, Delhi 2024-25

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this scheme, applicants must:

• Be a resident of Delhi.
• Belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Other Backward Class (OBC) category.
• Be enrolled in Classes 1 to 12 in a school recognized/affiliated with:
  • Department of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi
  • Municipal local bodies of Delhi
• Have scored at least 50% in the previous academic year.
• Have a minimum of 70% attendance in the preceding year.
• Have a family income not exceeding ₹3,00,000 per year.

Scholarship Benefits

Selected students will receive:

• Reimbursement of tuition, lab, and library fees up to ₹48,000 per annum or the actual amount paid, whichever is lower.

Required Documents

Applicants must submit the following documents:

1. Income certificate issued by a competent authority in Delhi.
2. Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC) issued in the name of the student or their father, by the SDM/Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), GNCT of Delhi.
3. Domicile certificate issued by a competent authority in Delhi.
4. Marksheet from the previous academic year.
5. Aadhaar-linked bank account details of the student (joint accounts with a parent/guardian are acceptable).
6. Original fee receipts for the current academic session.

• Visit the official website of the Department for the Welfare of SC/ST, Government of NCT of Delhi.
• Register/Login on the scholarship portal.
• Complete the application form with accurate details.
• Upload scanned copies of all the required documents.
• Review the application for correctness and submit it.
• Save and print the application receipt for future reference.
• Ensure submission before the deadline (May 31, 2025).
