About the Program

The Kalakriti Fellowship, offered by the Sanskriti Foundation, aims to support and promote excellence in Indian classical dance. This fellowship provides an opportunity for dancers to enhance their skills, explore new creative dimensions, and further their training under the guidance of a senior guru. Open to Indian citizens aged 25 to 40, the fellowship is designed for individuals who have undergone at least ten years of training and have experience performing in recognized forums.

The selected fellow will receive Rs. 50,000, awarded in two installments, and may be required to undertake a three-month residency to refine their craft. This initiative encourages dedicated practitioners of classical dance to deepen their knowledge and contribute to the cultural heritage of India.
