About the Program

The SOAS London - Shapoorji Pallonji Scholarship for PG Students 2025-26 is an initiative by the SOAS University of London to support students pursuing a Master’s degree in Zoroastrian studies. This scholarship is designed to assist students who take a multidisciplinary approach to the study of Zoroastrianism, including its historical, linguistic, anthropological, and other aspects. Selected candidates will receive financial assistance to cover their tuition fees and living expenses.

Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be an international or EU/UK fee-paying student.

  • Hold or expect to obtain an Honours degree from a UK university or an international equivalent for an MA program.

  • Have applied to SOAS University of London for a Master’s program in one of the following fields:

    • Iranian Studies
    • Religion, Politics, and Society
    • South Asian Area Studies
    • Middle Eastern Studies
  • Meet the English language requirements of their chosen program. If necessary, applicants must arrange an English language test and fulfill the requirements promptly.

Note:

  • Preference will be given to applicants with a First-Class Honours degree.
  • Non-UK degree holders must provide evidence of high academic performance through transcripts and references.
  • Before the final scholarship decision, candidates must have an unconditional admission offer.

Note:

  • Degree transcripts must be color scans.
  • The supporting statement must be written by the applicant
