About the Program

The Sun Pharma Science Foundation Science Scholar Fellowships aim to identify, recognize, and support young and meritorious MD/PhD researchers across India working in the field of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Selected scholars are provided a prestigious title, a fellowship grant, and support to present their research internationally.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this fellowship:

  • Applicants must be Indian nationals conducting research in India.

  • Should be under 30 years of age.

  • Must have completed minimum one year of their MD or PhD in Biomedical or Pharmaceutical Sciences.

  • Completed research project is required.

  • Those who have completed MD or PhD are not eligible.

  • Candidates should be prepared to present and defend their research to expert assessors.

  • Eligible candidates must submit online nominations via the Sun Pharma Science Foundation portal with the following:
  • Recent photograph of the applicant
  • Category of Fellowship
  • Personal details (Name, DOB, Citizenship)
  • Current academic program details
  • Contact information (Office & Residence address, Mobile No., Email)
  • Nominator details (Name, Address, Mobile No., Email)
  • Letter from supervisor/nominator certifying the research work was done by the applicant
  • Justification letter by the nominator for recommending the applicant
  • Shortlisting is done by expert assessors based on predetermined weightage and quality of the research. Final shortlisted candidates must present their research to a panel of judges for final selection.
