Sant Sohirobanath Ambiye Dnyanvruddhi Shishyavrutti Bursary Scheme 2024-25

Eligibility Criteria To apply for this bursary, applicants must:

• Be enrolled in a higher or technical education course with a maximum duration of five years in an institution located in Goa and affiliated with a recognized authority.
• Have completed their Class 10, Class 12, or diploma (as applicable) or any last qualifying examination from a recognized institution in Goa.
• Have a family income of less than ₹5,00,000 per year from all sources.

Note: Students who have completed their graduation from Central Universities, IITs, NITs, IIMs, etc., are also eligible to apply for postgraduate courses under this scheme.

Non-Eligibility Students who are already availing benefits under the Interest-Free Education Loan Scheme are not eligible for this bursary.

Benefits of the Scheme

The selected students will receive financial aid of up to ₹40,000, which covers:

• University registration fees
• Tuition fees
• Library and laboratory fees
• Cost of textbooks and reference materials
• Gymkhana fees
• IT lab charges, InfoTech fees, and practical fees
• Any additional fees approved by the Sanctioning Committee

Required Documents

Applicants must submit the following documents:

• Marksheet of Class 10, 12, diploma, graduation, or postgraduation (as applicable)
• Income Proof
• Admission Proof
• Fee Receipt issued by the institution
• Fee Structure, certified by the Head of the Institution

For Renewal Applications:

• Latest marksheet of the most recent qualifying examination
• Bona fide Certificate from the institution
• Income Certificate from the appropriate authority
• Fee Receipt verified by the Head of the Institution
