About the Program

The Swavalamban Associate for Ruralisation (SWAR) Fellowship 2025 is a unique initiative launched by the Swavalamban Foundation in collaboration with iVolunteer, both leading non-profit organizations. This fellowship is designed to equip young professionals with the necessary skills to address real-world challenges related to youth unemployment, entrepreneurship, and sustainability.

The program includes a two-week orientation to prepare fellows for the practical aspects of rural development. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹25,000, along with additional benefits, to support their work in creating innovative and sustainable solutions.

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Be between 18 and 30 years of age as of 1st March 2025.
  • Have a working knowledge of English and at least one Indian language.
