About the Program

The Talent Support Stipend Programme, West Bengal 2024-25 is an initiative by the West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation under the Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education Department, Government of West Bengal. The scheme is designed to provide financial assistance to students from minority communities pursuing their studies from Class 11 to Ph.D. level within West Bengal. The selected candidates will receive financial assistance up to ₹4,900

Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the stipend, an applicant must meet the following conditions:

  • Be an Indian citizen and a resident of West Bengal.
  • Belong to one of the following designated minority communities:
    • Christian
    • Muslim
    • Sikh
    • Buddhist
    • Jain
    • Parsi
  • Be currently enrolled in studies from Class 11 to Ph.D. level at a recognized institution within West Bengal.
  • Have secured at least 50% marks in the last qualifying examination.
  • The annual family income should be less than ₹2,00,000 from all sources.
