The Well Mountain Initiative (WMI) Scholar Program is a prestigious and competitive scholarship designed to support students from developing countries who are pursuing their first bachelor's degree or diploma. This program aims to empower young individuals committed to community development by providing them with the financial assistance needed to complete their undergraduate education.
The scholarship is awarded to students who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to giving back to their communities. WMI selects 50-60 scholars annually, offering up to USD 3,000 per year to cover tuition, books, and other academic expenses. Recipients are expected to use their education to contribute to the growth and advancement of their home country after graduation.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Well Mountain Initiative Scholar Program 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must be a citizen of a developing country (male or female).
Must have successfully completed secondary education with good to excellent grades.
Must be 35 years old or younger as of August 1, 2025.
Must be studying in their home country or another developing country.
Must be pursuing their first bachelor's degree or diploma.
The chosen program of study should contribute to the development and growth of their home country.
Must be committed to living and working in their home country after graduation.
Must demonstrate a strong commitment to community service and have prior volunteer experience.
Should have some financial resources available but require assistance to pursue higher education.
