AYUSH Scholarship Scheme 2025-26 is an opportunity provided by the Government of India through the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) to students pursuing Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) courses in Indian institutions/universities/colleges. Selected scholars will receive a monthly stipend of up to ₹43,500 along with other benefits such as airfare and health insurance to help cover the costs of their education in India.

Award: ₹18,000 per month for UG ₹35,000 per month for 1st-year PG ₹38,000 per month for 2nd & 3rd-year PG ₹43,500 per month for Ph.D. Rent allowance up to ₹6,500 in metro cities
Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years old at the time of admission Completed 12 years of schooling with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS

Rent Allowance:

Contingent Grant:
₹4,500 for UG & Yoga diploma
Thesis/Dissertation Support:
₹10,000 for Ph.D.
₹7,000 for MD/MS
Economy airfare (twice – admission & graduation)
Health insurance
Minimum 18 years of age at the time of admission
12 years of schooling with PCB for BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS
12 years of schooling for B.Sc. in Yoga/B.A. Yoga Shastra
Bachelor’s degree recognised by CCIM (for PG in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani)
Bachelor’s degree recognised by CCH (for PG in Homoeopathy)
Master’s degree recognised by CCIM (for Ph.D. in Ayurveda, Unani)
