Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be an Indian citizen and a resident of Delhi (bonafide domicile).
- Be below 30 years of age as of the cut-off date of the respective year.
- Have secured a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in their last qualifying examination.
- Be pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in one of the following fields:
- Engineering & Management
- Pure Sciences & Applied Sciences
- Agriculture Sciences & Medicine
- International Commerce, Accounting & Finance
- Humanities & Social Sciences
- Have a family income not exceeding ₹8,00,000 per annum.
Note:
- Bonafide residents must provide documented proof of at least 5 years of residence in Delhi.
- Only one child per family can avail of this scholarship, and applicants must submit a self-certification confirming the same.
- Employed applicants must apply through their employer and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- Applicants cannot apply for financial assistance for a course level in which they already hold a qualification.

Additional Notes:
- The financial assistance will be provided until the course is completed or for the maximum duration mentioned above, whichever is earlier.
- Funds will only be disbursed after admission confirmation and submission of required documents (such as an offer letter, visa, passport, bank details, etc.).
- No past claims will be entertained, and financial assistance will be credited only from the date of scheme approval.
- The assistance will be credited in instalments:
- First instalment after confirmation of admission.
- Subsequent instalments every six months or annually, based on the progress report from the institution abroad.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Proof of Date of Birth (Matriculation certificate or other relevant documents).
- Aadhaar card.
- Academic certificates, marksheets, degrees, and diplomas from all previous qualifications.
- Income certificate (in the prescribed format, issued by a competent authority of Delhi).
- Caste certificate (issued by a competent authority of Delhi).
- Offer letter from the institution (if available).
- Admission letter or official documents specifying university details, tuition fees, and estimated living expenses.
- Self-declaration/undertaking (as per the prescribed format available in the scholarship guidelines).
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) (if applicable).
How to Apply
Follow these steps to apply for the scholarship:
- Visit the official website of the Department for the Welfare of SC/ST, Government of NCT of Delhi.
- Register/Login on the scholarship portal.
- Complete the application form with the required personal, academic, and financial details.
- Upload scanned copies of all required documents.
- Review and submit the application before the deadline (May 31, 2025).
- Save and print the application receipt for future reference.
