About the Program

The Ireland International Education Scholarship (GOI-IES) 2025-26 is an initiative by the Government of Ireland, in collaboration with Irish higher education institutions (HEIs) and managed by the Higher Education Authority (HEA). This scholarship is designed to support outstanding international students pursuing postgraduate studies in Ireland at NFQ Level 9 or 10, including master’s, postgraduate diploma, or PhD programs.

The selected candidates will receive financial support of up to €10,000 (approximately ₹9,08,450) for a period of one year.

Eligible Applicants Must:

  • Be domiciled outside the EU/EEA region
  • Hold a graduate degree
  • Have a conditional or final offer from an Irish higher education institution at the time of application

Non-Eligibility:

  • Applicants who have previously received a GOI-IES scholarship are not eligible.
  • Russian and Belarusian nationals are ineligible due to ongoing geopolitical concerns.
