Legrand Empowering Scholarship Program 2026-27 (General Category)
The Legrand Empowering Scholarship Program 2026–27 is a Social Initiative of Group Legrand India, launched in 2018 with aim to provide access to higher education for meritorious girl students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. Since 2022 the scholarship support has been extended to differently abled students & LGBTQ+ students. Through financial assistance, the program aims to reduce barriers in education continuity among girl students, differently abled students & LGBTQ+ students, encourage diversity and inclusion, and empower deserving students to successfully complete their higher education.

Key Highlights
• Scholarship benefit is provided until the end of the course, subject to the student's academic performance.
• Mentoring support is offered to selected scholarship recipients by Legrand India. Industrial experts and subject matter experts help nurture future women leaders.
• A bi-annual Student Connect Program is organised for all the beneficiaries of this scholarship program to connect with the leaders from Group Legrand India and to build a network for development.

Target Beneficiaries The scholarship is intended for:

Award: 60% of annual course fee up to INR 80,000/- per year
Eligibility: Minimum 80% marks in both Class 10 and Class 12
Organization: Group Legrand India
60% of annual course fee up to INR 80,000/- per year. Scholarship support provided till the end of course based on each year based on the students’ performance.
Applicants must satisfy the following eligibility requirements.
1. Academic Requirements
General Category – Meritorious Girl students
• Minimum 80% marks in both Class 10 and Class 12.
• Admission secured in the first year of an eligible undergraduate program.
2. Family Income
• Annual family income from all sources should not exceed ₹5,00,000.
3. Geographic Coverage
• Open to students with Indian citizenship from across India (PAN India).
