The MTCP Scholarship 2025 is an initiative by the Government of Malaysia for international students from developing countries. It supports full-time Master’s degree programs in Malaysia. The scholarship is aimed at enhancing technical cooperation between Malaysia and other countries through educational development.
Amount: ₹70,000

Award: Monthly allowance of RM 3,500 (Approx. ₹70,000) Full tuition fee waiver One-time return economy-class air ticket
Eligibility: Must be a citizen of MTCP recipient countries Be below 45 years of age at the time of application Hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least second class upper (Honours) or CGPA of 3.0

Additional benefits such as visa and medical coverage
Applicants must:
Be a citizen of an MTCP recipient country
Be under 45 years of age at the time of application
Have at least a second-class upper undergraduate degree or CGPA of 3.0
Demonstrate English proficiency through IELTS (≥6.0), TOEFL iBT (≥60), or proof of English-medium education
Have secured admission or a conditional offer from a Malaysian university Note: Students of medicine, nursing, and clinical pharmacy are not eligible.
