The National Scholarship Exam (NSE) 2025 by NICE Foundation is a national-level online examination open to students of classes 5 to 12 and those pursuing Degree/Diploma courses (any stream/year). It aims to recognize and support academic talent while enhancing decision-making, reasoning, and subject knowledge through a structured online examination.
Note: The exam covers four key subjects: Mathematics & General Science, General Knowledge, Reasoning & Analytical, and Comprehension.

Eligibility: Students from any recognized board or university in India can apply
Organization: External
Offers various cash prizes and scholarships for top performers across all categories—for example, for Class 5, 1st Rank receives ₹25,000, 2nd Rank ₹20,000, 3rd Rank ₹15,000, and so on. Students securing ranks 6 to 100 across all standards will each receive a scholarship of ₹1,000.
Students from Classes 5 to 12 (CBSE, ICSE, State Boards) and Degree/Diploma students (any stream, any year) from any recognized board or university in India can apply; the exam is conducted in English, Hindi, or Marathi and is open to students across all states.
Online Process
Students should visit the website www.niceedu.org/registernse.
If not already registered, they need to complete the registration process to obtain their User ID and Password.
Using the User ID and Password, students can log in to their Student Account.
The system will prompt them to upload a recent photograph.
After successfully uploading the photo, they will gain access to the Student Dashboard.
Students can then proceed to the payment process, which is conducted online.
Payments can be made through QR Code, UPI, Wallets, Net Banking, Debit Card, or Credit Card.
Students should ensure all the above steps are completed successfully.
Offline Process:
Download the NSE-2025 Application Form from our website's download section.
Take a Print of the Student Application Form.
Fill in all the mandatory fields & stick the student's recent photograph in the given space.

Note There is no exam center allotment. Students can attempt the exam from home using a laptop or desktop PC, or at a nearby cyber café or computer center.
