The Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships

The Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships aim to enable and propel India’s future leaders.

Through this scholarship, Reliance Foundation will identify and support 100 of India's brightest postgraduate students pursuing select future-ready courses in Engineering, Technology, Energy and Life Sciences on the basis of merit through a competitive selection process. The Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships will support students with a generous grant and a holistic development programme, including expert interactions, industry exposure and volunteering opportunities, fostering a cohort of innovative thinkers dedicated to social good each year.

Eligibility: First year PG Students , scored 550 - 1,000 in the GATE .

  • Postgraduate: Up to INR 6,00,000 over the duration of the degree programme.
  • NOTE: Reliance Foundation Undergraduate & Postgraduate Scholars will also benefit from additional engagement and development activities (including the chance to attend talks and workshops with leading global experts, opportunities to apply for mentoring/internships, volunteering opportunities, a strong alumni network and more).
  • They will become part of a vibrant community of scholars who will be at the forefront of creating and building a new India.
Eligibility Description:

  • Be a resident Indian citizen

  • First year PG Students who secured a score of 550 - 1,000 in the GATE Examination.

          OR

  • Students who have scored 7.5 or above in their Undergraduate CGPA (or % normalised to CGPA)

  • Eligible degree programmes – Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics & Computing, Electrical/or Electronics Engg., Chemical Engg., Mechanical Engg., Renewable & New Energy, Material, Science & Engg. and Life Sciences.

How to Apply
  • Go to the Postgraduate Section
  • Fill out the online Eligibility Questionnaire.
  • If you fulfil the eligibility criteria, you will be sent an email invitation with log-in information to apply through Reliance Foundation’s application portal.
  • Log in to the application portal using the username and password received in the email.
  • Complete the scholarship application form and upload the required documents.
  • Submit the application.

Important Note:

  • All applicants are required to complete an online aptitude test as part of their application.
  • Once the application is submitted, the applicants will receive a confirmation email that will include the date/time of the online exam.
  • Applicants will receive a unique link for the final exam, as well as a link to take a practice test, one week before the final test.
  • Applications will be considered complete only when you have completed the aptitude test. Scores will be sent directly to Reliance Foundation once the test is submitted. Applicants will not be notified about their scores.
  • The Reliance Foundation does not charge any application fees to apply for this scholarship program.

Documents Required : For Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships The applicants are required to attach the following documents at the time of application:

  • Applicant’s photograph (passport size)
  • Address proof (permanent address)
  • Current resume
  • Marksheets of Class 10 and 12 board examinations
  • Marksheet of GATE Entrance Examination (if applicable)
  • Official transcript/marksheet of undergraduate degree
  • Bonafide Student Certificate from the current college/institution of enrollment
  • Two essays: Personal Statement and Statement of Purpose
  • Two reference letters: One academic and one character
  • Experience certificate/letter(s) from work experience/internships (if applicable)
  • Official Disability Certificate issued by the relevant Government authority (if applicable)
  • Family income proof issued by Gram Panchayat/Ward Counsellor/Sarpanch/Income Proof issued by SDM/DM/CO/Tehsildar
