Shankara Merit Scholarship 2025-26

The Shankara Merit Scholarship supports academically exceptional young girls from economically weaker and socially disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue higher professional education after Grade 12. The program aims to remove financial barriers and enable talented students to access quality institutions across India. Over the past three years, more than ₹75 lakhs have been awarded to deserving students, helping them move closer to their career aspirations.

• Holistic encouragement throughout the student’s academic journey

• Indian citizen from a less privileged background, studying in a government or NGO-run school

Academic Requirements:

• Minimum 90% in Grades X and XII from a recognized board, OR
• Minimum 80% in Grades X and XII for SC/ST/OBC students (Grade XII marksheet to be submitted at the time of final selection)
• Admission secured in Engineering, Medical, Pharmacy, or Nursing programs at a recognized government or reputed private college in India

Financial: Annual family income must be below ₹5,00,000, including BPL and EWS categories

4. Apply for the scholarship and fill in all the required details, and upload the required documents.
5. Submit the application form.
