Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this scholarship, students must meet the following conditions:

- They must be enrolled in 11th or 12th grade.
- They should have secured 75% or higher in the 10th grade (SSC exam).
- The student must be a domiciled resident of Maharashtra.
Scholarship Benefits
- SC students who achieve 75% or more in their SSC examination and enroll in 11th grade will receive a scholarship of ₹300 per month.
- The scholarship is provided for 10 months per year, for two years (covering 11th and 12th grade).
- This scholarship is in addition to any Government of India (GoI) scholarships and freeship benefits the student may receive.
- Freeship refers to a financial grant that helps in waiving or reducing institutional fees.

Post-Matric Scholarship for Persons with Disability
This scholarship is designed to support students with disabilities by offering financial aid for their education in Maharashtra.
Eligibility Criteria
- To apply for this scholarship, students must fulfill these conditions:
- The student must have a disability of 40% or more.
- They must be a domiciled resident of Maharashtra.
- They must be pursuing studies in a recognized university or institute.
- The scholarship is not applicable if the candidate fails or quits the course.
- The scholarship can be applied for only once per course (HSC/SSC/Degree). Reapplications for the same level are not allowed.
- Students studying in recognized institutes or colleges outside Maharashtra are eligible only if they are domiciled residents of Maharashtra.
- Medical postgraduates who cannot practice outside the institute (e.g., during internships or housemanship) are eligible.
- Students switching from Arts, Science, or Commerce to professional or technical courses remain eligible (except for Group A students who fail).
- Distance education students are eligible for ₹500 annually for books and materials, provided non-refundable fees are paid.
- This scholarship can only be combined with the Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship but not with other schemes.
- Full-time employed candidates are ineligible.
- Government hostellers not receiving books and stationery from the hostel are eligible for an additional 1/3 of the hosteller maintenance allowance.

Tribal Development Department: Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme (Government of India)
The Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme under the Tribal Development Department aims to support students from Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities in pursuing higher education by providing financial assistance.

- Only those pursuing courses listed under the Government Resolution (07/10/2017) are eligible.
- Candidates should not be receiving any other scholarship or stipend.
- Students enrolled in distance learning, virtual education, or part-time courses are not eligible.
- The selected course must be approved by authorities like the Government, AICTE, PCI, COA, MCI, NCTE, or University.
- There should be no study gap exceeding two years.
- Students must appear for all semester or annual exams.

- The applicant must belong to the Open category without being restricted by caste or social status. A total of 112 applicants will benefit from the scheme.
- Admission must have been secured through the CAP process.
- Management quota admissions are not eligible for this scholarship.
- There is no income requirement for this scheme.
- The applicant must be a domicile of Maharashtra.
- The students enrolled in deemed universities are not eligible.
- There should be no gap of two or more years in the course duration.
- The candidates will be disqualified if they fail in an academic year, engage in misconduct, or do not meet attendance requirements.

Minority Development Department Scholarship for Students of Minority Communities pursuing Higher and Professional Courses (DTE)
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this scholarship, students must meet the following conditions:
- Must be an Indian citizen with a domicile certificate from Maharashtra.
- Must have completed SSC (10th grade) in Maharashtra.
- Should be enrolled in a recognized professional or technical course (Diploma, Graduation, or Post-Graduation) as per Government Resolution (GR).
- Admission must be through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) or at the institute level.
- Should not be receiving any other scholarship or stipend.
- The family’s total annual income should not exceed ₹8 lakh.
- Benefits of the Scholarship
- For technical courses listed under Part-I of the GR, students can receive up to ₹25,000 per year or the actual tuition fees, whichever is lower.
- From 2022-23 onwards, this amount has increased to ₹50,000 per year, covering both tuition and exam fees or the actual cost, whichever is less.
