About the Program

The Film Art and Film Making Scholarship by MAHE is offered for Indian students enrolling in the dual-degree Master’s program in Film Art and Film Making. Conducted in collaboration with EICAR – The International Film and Television School, Paris, this 2-year program provides one year of immersive learning at Manipal Institute of Communication and the final year at EICAR, Paris.

Eligibility: Indian students with a graduate degree (minimum 3 years) in any discipline from a recognized university with 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.

Benefits

Scholarship amount equivalent to the first-year tuition fee at Manipal, i.e., ₹3,51,261. Upon completion of the program, students receive a MA in Film Art from MAHE and an MFA in Filmmaking from EICAR.

Eligibility Description
  • Indian nationals who have completed a bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 50% marks.
  • Must be applying for the Master of Arts in Film Art and Film Making course commencing in 2025.
