The Pre Matric Scholarship for Minorities is a scheme by the Ministry of Minority Affairs to support students from minority communities studying in Classes 1–10 in government or eligible private schools across India. It aims to encourage school education among minority communities, reduce financial burden, and provide equal opportunities for educational growth.
Amount: ₹1,000 – ₹7,000

Award:
Eligibility: The applicant must be a student of Class 1 to Class 10 from a minority community, with annual family income ≤ ₹1,00,000, and must have scored at least 50% marks in the previous final examination. The student must not be availing any other government scholarship and not be the third sibling receiving this scholarship.

Admission Fee (Class 6–10): ₹500/year.
Tuition Fee (Class 6–10): ₹350/month.
Maintenance Allowance:
Class 1–5: ₹100/month (Day Scholar)
Class 6–10: ₹600/month (Hosteller), ₹100/month (Day Scholar)
Student must be in Class 1–10.
Must belong to a minority community.
Annual parental/guardian income ≤ ₹1,00,000.
Minimum 50% marks in previous final examination.
Not availing any other government scholarship.
Maximum two students from one family can avail.
Apply online via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
Complete One Time Registration (OTR) and e-KYC with AadhaarFaceRD.
Fill application form, upload documents, and submit online.
Track application and payment status via NSP/PFMS.
